Un concert des Californiens The Schizophonics sans le son, c’est déjà très impressionnant: l’intenable chanteur-guitariste Pat Beers pourrait faire derviche tourneur, médaillé olympique de saut en hauteur ou imitateur de volcan en éruption.
Mais avec le son, c’est encore plus fort, très très fort: du rock’n’roll de compétition, avec une énergie soul et supersonique comme on n’en voit plus depuis le MC5 ou James Brown. Sans concessions, le meilleur groupe de rock’n’roll en Amérique aujourd’hui.
